Zoho Voice

Every call, on the customer record.

Zoho Voice is a cloud phone system and contact centre (business numbers, IVR, queues, recording, and a dialer) that rings inside Zoho CRM and Desk. No PBX in the server room, and no call history that lives only in someone's memory.

What it holds

What moving the phones into the system changes.

  • A business number on any device (browser, iOS, or Android), so the line follows the person, not the desk.
  • IVR menus, team queues, business hours, and holiday rules that send each call to the right people, and to voicemail when no one should pick up.
  • Click-to-call and automatic call logging in Zoho CRM, Desk, Bigin, and Recruit. The call appears on the record without anyone typing it in.
  • Recording, voicemail transcription, and AI call summaries: intent, sentiment, and an agent score for recorded calls.
  • Contact-centre controls for when the team grows: live call monitoring, whisper and barge, a power dialer for outbound campaigns, call outcomes, and wrap-up time.
  • Queue statistics, agent status, and call reports that show where callers wait, and why.

Inside Zoho Voice

The call, from first ring to the record.

Zoho Voice — a call routed through the IVR menu to a team queue and logged on the CRM record

Routing

IVR, queues, and hours send each call to the team that should take it.

Inside the CRM

Dial from the contact list; the call is logged on the record.

Three ways it gets used

One platform, set up for how your team answers.

The office phone, without the box

Extensions, transfers, and forwarding for a team that works from the office, from home, and from the road. Set up in the cloud with an internet connection and nothing to install.

A contact centre in the cloud

Queues, callbacks, supervisor listening, and a multi-agent power dialer, for support desks and telesales teams that measure service level as well as call count.

The phone inside the CRM

Calls placed and answered from the customer record, logged against the deal or ticket, with the recording and summary attached. The history is where the conversation is.

Before you commit

What we check first.

Telephony depends on the country it runs in. These are the questions we settle before a licence is bought.

  • Numbers. Zoho Voice offers local and toll-free Malaysian numbers, but no personal numbers for Malaysia. A toll-free number only takes calls; it cannot dial out. Where a new number isn't the right route, Bring Your Own Carrier keeps your existing numbers and carrier without porting.
  • Messaging. Two-way SMS works on US, Canadian, and Australian numbers only. For Malaysian customers, the conversation runs on WhatsApp instead, handled by several agents, with automated replies.
  • Edition. Zoho Voice is its own subscription, not part of Zoho One. The full integration with Zoho CRM, Desk, and the rest runs through Zoho PhoneBridge and needs the Enterprise Telephony edition. If you only need click-to-call in CRM or Bigin, the built-in telephony may be enough, and we'll say so.
  • Call costs. Calls draw on prepaid credits, charged only when a call is made or received. The unlimited calling in the Basic plan covers the US and Canada only, so for a Malaysian team we cost the calls from the per-minute rates below rather than count on unlimited.
  • Connection and data. Each user needs at least 5 Mbps. Zoho hosts Voice in its US, EU, Indian, and Australian data centres, which is worth knowing before recordings start to accumulate.

The licence

A subscription for the system. Credits for the calls.

Zoho prices Voice in US dollars, Malaysia included. The plan buys the phone system; every call, number, and recording is paid from prepaid credits, at one credit to the dollar. These are the Enterprise Telephony plans, the edition that rings inside Zoho CRM, Desk, and Bigin.

Where it sits.

Zoho Voice is for the business whose customers still pick up the phone, and whose call history today is a mobile handset, a desk phone, and whatever someone remembered to write down.

It earns its place next to a CRM. Pair it with Zoho CRM Plus for sales and support on one record, or with Bigin for a small team. On Zoho One, it connects to the apps you already run through Zoho PhoneBridge, as a separate subscription.

The software is the licence. The system is the work.

Zoho builds the platform. We build what your business runs on it — diagnosed, designed, implemented, and supported for as long as you run it. How we work → Ongoing support →
