The serpent does not encircle the world to be seen.
It encircles the world to define its edge.
The foundation
Ooroboros is named for Jörmungandr — the serpent so vast it encircles the world entire, biting its own tail simply to hold. It does not announce itself. It does not seek recognition. As long as it holds, the world holds with it. The circle it closes — the tail held in its mouth — is the oldest mark we have for renewal: the end that feeds the beginning.
Think also of Atlas, the figure who carries the world on his shoulders so everything above him can exist without collapse. He does not build the world. He does not decorate it. He holds it.
The serpent encircles. Atlas carries. The work is the same — and it is the work we do for the companies we build with. We take the weight of the systems, the processes, the infrastructure that are too complex, too critical, or too foundational to leave to chance, so our clients can focus on what exists above.
"Does this hold?"
Not impress. Not persuade. Not charm. Hold. Every decision we make — technical, visual, written — answers to that one question first.
Technology was supposed to make it lighter.
Technology has never been more capable. For most businesses, it has also never been more complicated.
The ERP, the accounting software, the CRM, the website, the cloud, the campaigns — each bought to solve something, none of them speaking to the others. Departments drift apart. Work that should be automatic stays manual. Information sits in silos no one owns. Teams spend their days working around the tools instead of on the work.
We have watched this happen across companies of every size — from growing SMEs to universities, hospitals, and enterprises. The technology was rarely the problem. What was missing was the thing underneath it: the fit between strategy, systems, and the people who use them.
That gap is what we were built to hold.
Two visions. One foundation.
Ooroboros did not so much merge two practices as recognise they were already one — because its founders were.
The work goes back to 2017, when Fintech Rakyat set out to build serious financial technology for the people — not only for those who could already afford to get things right.
In 2023 that practice joined with COBI Media's branding, design, and storytelling to become Ooroboros Sdn Bhd. Apart, each solved a different kind of problem. Together they answered the one businesses actually live: a company does not experience its problems by department. Technology shapes marketing. Marketing shapes operations. Operations shape finance. Finance shapes the customer. It is one structure.
So Ooroboros was built as one — not a software house, not a creative agency. The system and the surface, held to the same standard. That is CODE and Canvas.
Ordo et Crea
Order & Create
Order gives the work its clarity. Creation gives it its reach. Held together, they are how a business is built to last.
The team that carries.
Francisco Pier
Principal Consultant
Francisco's background is in ERP and HR systems — implementing them, training the teams who would run them, and staying close enough to the work to know what those teams actually needed. That grounding became Fintech Rakyat: serious financial technology for the people, not only for those who could already afford to get things right. He is patient the way a good trainer has to be, and exact the way a good implementer has to be — the two rarely come together, and the work is better for it.
Abigail Enero Naidu
Chief of Automation
Abigail built her foundation in the creative industry — design, video, the craft of making a company legible to the people it serves — then moved toward the systems beneath the surface: marketing technology and automation, turning messy processes into operations that hold. Calm, structured, exact. She is the bridge this company is named for, where strategy, systems, and design meet in one place.
James Wang
Chief Technology Officer
James holds the firm's engineering standard. His depth is in HR and payroll software — development lifecycle, Java, CRM platforms — behind a degree in computer software engineering. At Ooroboros he leads the engineering and support teams, developing engineers past the technical role into ownership, so delivery rests on a layered team rather than a few specialists. Exacting on detail, for the reason clients feel in the work: technology should reduce work, not add to it.
Kabir Dhillon
Director of Operations & Momentum
Kabir brings twenty years across operations, growth, and client services in entertainment and healthcare — including leading operations at Hang Seng Healthcare through the COVID period. At Ooroboros he holds operational governance across the portfolio and the firm's outward interface: procurement, engagement enquiries, institutional communication. Twenty years where the test was always whether things actually ran.
Unhurried. Direct. Warm in the way competence is warm.
Unhurried
We've seen enough to know that rushing produces the problems that make people call us in the first place.
Direct
We say what is true, not what is comfortable — the way a trusted advisor does, because the client deserves to know.
Warm through competence
We don't perform care. The seriousness with which we approach the work is the care.

What the trust has built.
Every marker here is a decision a client or partner made to build with us. Recognition is never the aim — it is what accumulates when the work holds.

Advanced status — earned on delivered implementations, not intentions.
We don't filter by company size. We filter by mindset.
The client we work with understands that the foundation is the investment, not the cost — willing to change how they operate, adapt their processes, and do the harder work of building something that will hold. They may be small. They may be just starting. What they are not is passive.
- We don't make clients feel small for not knowing something.
- We aren't impressed by our own language.
- We don't gatekeep knowledge that would help a client understand their own business.
- We're not available only to the few — we're available only to the ready.
Serious about the work. Not always serious.
What holds, whoever you are.
A startup laying its first foundation. An SME preparing for its next stage. An enterprise modernising operations that cannot afford to stop. The commitment underneath does not change.
- We listen before we recommend.
- We understand before we build.
- We simplify before we automate.
- We stay — to teach, support, and hold what we've built, long after launch.
